praying...

I'm not a churchy person. I was raised with a rather non-traditional approach to religion. Born and baptized in the Methodist church. Parents (and later I) converted to the Baha'i Faith in my early adolesence. Converted to Catholicism to marry my ex-husband due to his parents intolerance of all things not Catholic (bad idea, yes, I know). So, I approach organized religion with a healthy dose of skepticism. It seems that spirtuality is perverted by human interference.

That said, I don't care what religion, what church, what energy you believe in - I think that good thoughts beget good things. Call it prayer, call it meditation, call it a hike through the woods with your puppy....

I have a friend who is dearly in need of all those thoughts and the place she and her family are in right now brings me to tears. In order to keep my center I say my childhood Baha'i remover of difficulties prayer, but if you read this post and have some good energy to share, please send it to my dear friend Anne and her family.

It amazes me sometimes how similar we think considering the years and distance since high school!

My good thoughts are headed Anne's way. Tough times suck...but they're much easier to face with caring friends like you obviously are to her!
